What is Yin Yoga?

In Yin Yoga we move at a slower pace, holding poses for up to five minutes. Instead of heating up, we relax the muscles as much as possible. In these passive poses we can work the deeper connective tissues – tendons, ligaments and fascia.

You are the Yin to my Yang <3

Yin completes a more heating yang practice, such as Vinyasa yoga, running or weight exercise. In Yin we slow things down and turn inward. A wonderful antidote in today‘s fast-paced world.

Join Eva every Wednesday evening at 21.00 at Womanhood Studio for an hour of Yin yoga starting from August 29.

In the Hatha Yoga practice the focus is on loosening and strengthening the body. It is a static practice, rather than a flowing one, and there is always time for relaxation between different postures.

Regulating the breath plays an important role in the practice in order to stabilize it. The Hatha Yoga practice will calm down and quiet your mind. After the practice you will feel peaceful, open and strong.

It is a mild practice so it is a great style for people who are new to yoga or students who prefer a more relaxed style.

feeling tired, stressed or overworked, this type of yoga is the answer!!

The poses range from being on, hovering slightly over and off the ground. I
will find those poses to be grounding, healing and challenging.
It's a different feel from regular Aerial classes with our hammocks (waist
level) but it's definitely something that might interest you to add to your
weekly routines. Or just try once. No experience is needed.

In our Prenatal Aerial classes the hammock (sling) will be used to remove pressure from certain areas of the body, release tension, and build strength and flexibility to prepare for labor.

Changing of your body and upcoming needs will be discussed in-between exercises, while being appropriately gentle and safe for you and your baby.

For prenatal use, our hammocks are just another tool preparing your mind, body, emotions and spirit for birth. No difficult or acrobatic poses should be expected like we would use the slings generally in a typical aerial yoga class.

You will practice to:
- Listen to your body, staying true to you in every moment
- Being present
- Being kind to yourself, and take deep breaths.

Added bonus: some guided meditation and savasana in the hammock, letting the sensation of weightlessness melt away your tension.

You will leave feeling like you truly worked your body, yet in a safe, conscious and effective manner.

No previous experience practicing Yoga or Pilates is required. Al stages of pregnancy are welcome.

Baby massage helps stimulate the production of the feel-good hormone oxytocin in you and your baby. You may find that giving your baby a massage lifts your mood and helps you to feel more empowered as a parent.

The time you set aside for a massage can be your special time together. As you massage your baby, it comes naturally to chat and have plenty time of eye contact.

Wish to reduce baby's crying? Help baby sleep more deeply and longer? Help develop good muscle tone, coordination and Enhance body awareness?
Join us at the womanhood studio. Both parents are welcome!

In a 2,5 hour session we will learn and practice the most common techniques for a total baby’s body massage and become confident with touching and massaging.

It is best to start massaging your baby after the umbilical stump falls off. Best time to join is from that moment until 8-9 months, when your baby starts crawling or walking.

Costs of a group’s class: 75 euro. You and your partner, and the baby of course, are welcome!

Restorative Yoga is relatively new, but the interest for this type of sessions is rapidly growing.

In today’s society it’s very easy to be busy from the very moment you wake up. As soon as we open our eyes there are so many things around us inviting us to either consume or produce. We look at the latest updates on our phone or listen to them as we get ready for our day. We produce by working, doing things for the people we love, creating food and care.

How often do you take time to rest?

Rest and restoring is essential to keep up our busy lifestyles. Yet how often do you allow yourself to not DO? When we rest there is absolute Relaxation, as we are effortlessly in stillness and quiet.

Why practice Restorative Yoga?

Restorative Yoga poses help us learn to rest deeply and completely. We use props (blankets, bolsters) to support the physical body in comfortable positions. Although restorative postures may look simple and peaceful, it can be challenging for 'new relaxers' or at times when the mind or the physical body is diseased. It may take time to adjust and adapt to doing 'nothing' and be in active rest, allowing the mind to settle.

The key is patience and willingness to let go... to relax and restore.

Ashtanga yoga is modern, energetic and an active style of yoga, which consists of several asanas ordered in sequence.

In this 60 minute class we will go through a few primary series, which might seem very advanced, although we always find adaptations for beginners, too.

In this practice you will find a lot of strength along with great concentration and steadiness, while synchronizing breath and movement.

Ashtanga yoga is for you if you want a challenge and you love structure. The practice is identical from day to day, and it takes most people years to move up a level.

NOTE: If you have sensitive muscles or joints, this may not be the practice for you.

Yin Yoga will allow you to reduce stress, calm and balance body and mind. It can help you improve your flexibility and mobility. We‘ll work to free up the energy in the body, making your Organs happy.

What is Yin Yoga?

In Yin Yoga we move at a slower pace, holding poses for up to five minutes. Instead of heating up, we relax the muscles as much as possible. In these passive poses we can work the deeper connective tissues – tendons, ligaments and fascia.

You are the Yin to my Yang <3

Yin completes a more heating yang practice, such as Vinyasa yoga, running or weight exercise. In Yin we slow things down and turn inward. A wonderful antidote in today‘s fast-paced world.

Join Nicola every Sunday evening at 20:30 at Womanhood Studio for an hour of Yin yoga.

Restorative Yoga is relatively new, but the interest for this type of sessions is rapidly growing.

In today’s society it’s very easy to be busy from the very moment you wake up. As soon as we open our eyes there are so many things around us inviting us to either consume or produce. We look at the latest updates on our phone or listen to them as we get ready for our day. We produce by working, doing things for the people we love, creating food and care.

How often do you take time to rest?

Rest and restoring is essential to keep up our busy lifestyles. Yet how often do you allow yourself to not DO? When we rest there is absolute Relaxation, as we are effortlessly in stillness and quiet.
