Prenatal Pilates for moms-to-be is a great way to stay in shape during the coming pregnancy months. The Pilates routine is safe to do in every trimester, not only it builds strength, balance and stamina, but can also help you have an easier labour. Our classes are based on the STOTT PILATES exercise technique.

We will focus on opening the shoulders and chest to give more freedom to your breath and more space for your growing baby. We will study some exercises to strengthen both your legs and arms, to stay healthy and fit. Our Pilates classes will help to prepare your body, mind and emotional system to approach delivery in a more aware and confident way.

Yin Yoga will allow you to reduce stress, calm and balance body and mind. It can help you improve your flexibility and mobility. We‘ll work to free up the energy in the body, making your Organs happy.

What is Yin Yoga?

In Yin Yoga we move at a slower pace, holding poses for up to five minutes. Instead of heating up, we relax the muscles as much as possible. In these passive poses we can work the deeper connective tissues – tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Yin completes a more heating yang practice, such as Vinyasa yoga, running or weight exercise. In Yin we slow things down and turn inward. A wonderful antidote in today‘s fast-paced world.

In the Hatha Yoga practice the focus is on loosening and strengthening the body. It is a static practice, rather than a flowing one, and there is always time for relaxation between different postures.

Regulating the breath plays an important role in the practice in order to stabilize it. The Hatha Yoga practice will calm down and quiet your mind. After the practice you will feel peaceful, open and strong.

It is a mild practice so it is a great style for people who are new to yoga or students who prefer a more relaxed style.

Stay at home and join us for a fun yoga morning with the whole family!

Start the weekend in a fun way. In our online live Family Yoga class with Eva we will move together through yoga adventures, combining yoga poses, singing, dancing, play, breathe and relax to create a truly magical family time!

Let's create time for play, connection and relaxation during these times of isolation.

Children of all ages are welcome. The class will take place in a casual setting, getting the kids curious to move and interact with you and the whole group. Like a big playdate!
Move aside the couch table, bring some blankets and pillows and balls of any size. Kids, you can also bring your favourite stuffed animal :)

Parents, beware: You and your kids might get off the mat with giggles, a soft heart and glowing eyes.

The class will be 45 minutes long. As a bonus you will receive a PDF after the class with some tips and ideas on how to incorporate mindfulness/yoga into your family life these days.

Combining Myofascial Release with a gentle Yin Yoga practice, this long class is a sweet invitation to release tension, calm your nervous system and restore mobility in the body.

Spring and the Wood Element:
In Yin Yoga we work with the elements of the seasons: Spring invites us to connect to the Wood element and the renewal and awakening in nature. With a focus on loosening up hips and legs, we will support the organs of liver and gallbladder, to enhance the smooth flow of Qi (vital energy). All so you can move, dance, swing fully energized into the warmer time of the year.

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands-on technique that involves gentle, sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions. You will learn how to safely apply this by yourself. MFR is a versatile tool and may help to reduce pain and stiffness in the body, restore mobility and improve overall well-being.

Yin Yoga too looks into nourishing the deeper tissues in the body, such as ligaments around the joints. With the combination of MFR and Yin Yoga we can open the body more fully to increase the circulation of blood & Qi to the tissues of the body.

The cost for the class includes two tennis balls that you can keep after the session to practice at home.
Please bring comfortable clothes and an extra pair of socks.

Whether this is your first pregnancy or not the road to parenthood is a very special time for you and your family.
In the Netherlands, it’s important to know about ‘the standard ‘approach to pregnancy and birth from what you may be used to in your own country. But… don’t stress!

Getting the knowledge and learning the techniques from this course will empower and support you and your partner in having the birth experience you most wish for.
Join us (from 3rd trimester; 28 weeks plus) to prepare yourself, your partner and discover many birthing options. This course will not only be informational and practical, but also lots of fun!!

- The physiology of birth, including all stages
- Positioning
- Pain coping techniques and options available
- Breathing
- Instinctive versus guided pushing

Join us (from 3rd trimester; 28 weeks plus) to prepare yourself, your partner and discover many birthing options. This course will not only be informational and practical, but also lots of fun!!

Subjects that will be covered:
- The physiology of birth, including all stages
- Positioning
- Pain coping techniques and options available
- Breathing
- Instinctive versus guided pushing
- Home versus hospital birth
- Birth planning
- Postpartum support and care

With involvement of your partner, continuous support and one-on-one guidance, you will most likely have an empowering, safe and joyful birth experience. These topics and more will be discussed during our course together.

Practical info:
- Start at 11:00 am. We will start streaming 5 minutes earlier so we can say hi to each other.
- 13:00 Break for lunch (at the comfort of your own home)
- Finishat 16:00 pm.
- Wear comfortable cloth
- Price: per *couple – 199 EURO

*”A couple” can be your birth support partner, mother, sister or friend.
