General terms of Yoga flow with Em

By proceeding to register for a class with yoga flow with em, you agree you will follow the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read all T&C’s fully.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Clients agree to adhere to the code of conduct at all times:
* Arrive promptly to class.
* Please make sure you wear clean clothing in which you can easily move.
* In view of potential allergies of other clients, everyone is asked not to wear any perfume, aromatherapy oils or other scented products, and not to use any spray deodorant in the class.
* It is advised not to eat later than one hour before the start of the yoga class and, in any case, not to do yoga on a full stomach.
* Yoga is best practiced bare foot to connect with the ground, however if you prefer yoga socks or have a medical reason to wear shoes you are welcome to do so but please discuss with Emily before class.
* During classes held at Dene House Farm Studio Longframlington, yoga mats will be available for use during yoga classes. After classes, a yoga mat must always be cleaned and put away by the client who has used it.
* At other venues you may be advised to bring your own yoga mat and/or towel.
* Abusive or threatening behaviour, language of a profane or discriminatory nature, will not be tolerated. Sexual behaviour or sexually suggestive behaviour is not tolerated. Clients displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave the class immediately.
* Yoga classes are inclusive spaces and clients are asked to be polite and respectful to all participants.
* Whilst you are encouraged to bring your own water, please don’t leave any rubbish in the studio/ premises.
* Mobile phones are discouraged in class. Please turn to silent before class starts.

AGE RESTRICTIONS:
If you are 18 and above you are able to attend any of our classes & workshops.

CANCELLATION:
Class payment is final and non-refundable.

In the unlikely event I/we need to cancel a Class/Workshop due to illness, change in circumstance, adverse weather, or another applicable reason, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and refunded any payments they have made.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
Personal belongings are brought to class/ workshops at the clients risk and we do not accept liability for any loss or damage whatsoever to such items.

FITNESS & HEALTH:
As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. You agree that if you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor.

Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis and/or medical treatment.

Clients are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition including but not limited to:
- Heart conditions
- Chest pain during physical activity or rest.
- Dizziness and/or loss of consciousness
- Loss of balance
- Bone or joint problems
- High blood pressure
- Taking prescribed medication for an existing condition

Those over the age of 69 years are advised to consult a doctor if they plan to start yoga and are not currently used to being very active, even if they have no symptoms or known concerns.

Emily is a certified yoga teacher and works exclusively with certified teachers in other fields, always ensuring high-quality classes & workshops. Even so, a client always runs the risk of receiving an injury during a yoga class.

By participating in a yoga class/workshop the client accepts this risk of an injury. You understand and voluntarily accept these risks and agree that you are solely responsible for selecting classes and activities that are appropriate for your skill and ability level.

 If you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor.

It is your responsibility to inform the instructor of limitations before class begins.

Your instructor reserves the right to deny participation or terminate the practice upon observation of any symptoms of concern until you have medical or specialists approval to partake.

Please use the following guidelines for reducing the risk of an injury:
* Always consult a doctor before starting yoga classes if you are not sure that you are completely healthy or if you are pregnant.
* If you have an injury or any other physical inconvenience, always inform your yoga teacher about this before starting the yoga class.
* Listen to and follow the instructions of the relevant yoga teacher.
* Perform the yoga exercises carefully and bear your physical limitations in mind.
* Do not perform any yoga exercises that are painful.
* Ask questions if you do not understand an exercise.
* Avoid inverted poses during menstruation.

SAFETY & HYGIENE:
Smoking is not permitted during a yoga class and/or workshop.

Please follow the individual premises smoking policy for smoking when on site.

Clients must use the appointed entrance to the premises when entering or leaving. Fire exits, which are clearly marked, are there in the interests of safety and clients must not interfere with these doors for any reason. Be respectful of the venue and those around you at all times.


In the event of a fire, clients are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit and follow the protocols of the site/venue/studio.

PRICING:
All purchases are final.

All classes & workshops are non-transferable and may not be shared.

Online payments are taken through the stripe payment platform via momoyoga.

All Cards will be processed in Pounds Stirling at the time of payment.

Yoga flow with Em is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or Credit Card companies.

DATA PROTECTION:

Access to your personal data input on momoyoga is password-protected, and only those with permission are granted access. Momoyoga stores data in an encrypted database.

Your personal & financial data may also be processed via the stripe payment platform when booking a class. This is solely for the purpose of taking payment and preventing fraud.

Whenever your personal data is collected or processed in booking a class it will only be kept for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected (bookings, payment, or statutory requirements) At the end of that period, your data will be deleted.

Data collected will not be sold, shared, rented or otherwise distributed to any third party.
