Kom en ervaar Hatha Yoga op zondag van 9.30u tot 11.00u (90minuten):
We werken in 5 lessen rond een thema, we groeien doorheen 5 zondagen.

De eerste 5 zondagen hebben als thema ‘breathing’ 5 lessen na elkaar zal Agatha hier dieper op ingaan:

On the first series we will focus on our breathing. Breathing is a process which goes automatically and mostly we don’t pay attention on how we breath. Although we can’t live without breathing. We should remember that breathing creates energy in our body, which why it is so important. This is a process of exchange oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the body. Those both gases are necessary for the proper functioning of our body.
We often only use our chest to breath (thoracic breathing) instead of abdominal (belly breathing). Abdominal breathing also helps to make the right movement of diaphragm (main breathing muscle) and helps the lungs to function efficiently.
Conscious breathing is very important. Not only during yoga asanas, but also in our daily life. Because of breathing correctly we can deliver necessary amounts of oxygen to our internal organs and cells, which make our body work better. Also during breathing we allow our bodies to get rid of the waste products and toxins it creates.
During those 5 Sundays we will work on proper abdominal breathing and full yogic breath. Also we will learn some breathing techniques as Kapalbhati (Skull-Shining Breath) and Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing). Both of those techniques have a lot of benefits for our body and mind.
We will perform yoga asanas focusing on the breathing at the same time, so we can feel more energetic and gain control of our mind.

Hatha Yoga is a perfect class for those who are looking for balance between body and mind. During classes we will combine yoga poses and breathing exercises to strengthen our body, lower the stress and also calm and relax our mind. In Hatha yoga we will hold the pose and at the same time we will focus on our breathing, increasing our stamina and flexibility.

• Why Hatha Yoga?
Hatha yoga is an ancient yoga practice with a combination of yoga poses (asanas) and breathing exercises. The word Hatha means “stubborn” and during practice we must be patient and also determined to keep the pose for 1-5 minutes, or step by step improve ourselves. During hatha yoga practice you can learn how to control your body and your mind. Hatha yoga helps to increase concentration, it brings balance to our emotions, improves the functioning of all body systems and improves our energy level.

• What dus Agata want to achieve witch teaching yoga?
By teaching yoga I would like to help other people to feel better physically and mentally. Yoga is not about how we look in the pose, but how we feel in the pose. It should be steady and comfortable for us. It is my goal to teach my students to find balance and to be motivated to improve in daily life. Every yoga session will end with relaxation and it is a perfect moment to connect with yourself and release the stress and tension all over the body and mind.
