But why is it often associated with the tortured artist, self doubt, fear of failure and the need to escape from an unsatisfying present?

This class is part of a five week course, offering different possibilities for creativity.
The Yoga Sutras and other traditional texts and practices, show that inspiration can also arise from satisfaction, contentment and being firmly rooted in the present moment.

And Yoga perfectly complements creative practice -  because it increases capacity for rigour, resilience, commitment and inspiration. 

This 60 minute class blends strong physical movement with philosophy, breathing and meditation.
