Yin Yoga~is a way of working our deep tissues and keeping our joints healthy. It is also a deeply meditative practice as the poses are held for longer periods of time, often supported by props. Yin teaches you how to really listen, you don't get the opportunity to go in and out, jump around and find a distracted version of stillness within your practice. Yin is a great compliment to other styles of yoga. It asks you to learn to "be" and to "accept what is" in that moment. This can be a challenging form of yoga as we struggle to still our and our mind, but once this challenge is overcome, there is a wonderful feeling of stillness and peace.
Yoga Nidra~Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going to sleep stage" typically induced by a guided meditation

It is at a slower pace with longer holding of postures to raise prana, and uses basic postures. This class may be a little more challenging, but is suitable for all levels and abilities, and those looking for a more internal practice.
Start your weekend off right. This Gentle Slow Flow class is suitable for all levels and is a welcome and much-needed break from the stress and speed of day to day life. The class will focus on leading students through light flowing movements while allowing time to expand, hold, and enjoy each pose. The combination of breath and movement will be emphasized so you can mindfully flow from asana to asana. Grab a mat, don’t forget your water bottle, and relax into a soothing sequence that will leave you feeling centered and renewed.
