Heated Pilates burns fat and strengthens muscles, all without the pounding of a high impact workout. This exciting and new 60 minute class is held at 26 degrees.
Heated Pilates helps build self-belief in what you are capable of achieving and creates a positive mindset that you can take out and apply in your daily life.
Pilates works the core specifically and deliberately. Especially some of the deeper core muscles that are impossible to see, but crucial to health and mobility.
A strong core also helps reduces back pain.
When the body is heated, more blood vessels dilate, which promotes blood flow. Increased blood flow can aid in pain relief. Toxins can be flushed out of injured areas of the body allowing for better range of movement. It’s especially beneficial for lower back pain, muscle aches and pains.

This class will start with sun salutations and flow movements focsuing on the lower back and hips, moving from one posture to another. This part of the practice will allow the body to feel energised and strengthened.

YIN ☯️
The second part of the class we will focusing on yin poses, whereby each pose is held for between 2-4 mins using props (pillows). Using props and holding the poses for a longer time will allow the connective tissues around the muscles, tendons and ligaments to slowly release. This part of the practice will allow the body to feel relaxed.

Please have two pillows ready for class.

The Hot Yoga (Bikram inspired) class is based on 26 Hatha yoga postures performed in heated room aprox 33-38 C in a particular order to allow the body to feel energised by stretching and strengthening out the muscles. This class will make you sweat. Rocket Yoga is the perfect sequence of postures, breath and tempo, designed to make some of the more challenging yoga postures accessible to everyone. We get to try headstands, handstands, forearm balances, back bending and twists. This is done by providing a variety of options which develop the progression of the practice through stepping stones. You will feel supported during the class as there is a posture for everyone.

 With the Rocket we remove the hierarchy of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa system, it is like Ashtanga for the western body and mindset, while remaining true to the roots. We use bandhas and breath at a faster pace, building strength and stamina. Then we introduce the series of arm balances and inversions which make Rocket Yoga unique. The Rocket helps facilitate our journey to the essence of our very being. Why is it called the Rocket? Because it gets you there faster
