Kundaliniyoga
Kundalini yoga is a dynamic form of yoga where most exercises are combined with powerful breathing. Kundalini yoga consists of a combination of postures, breathing exercises, meditation and mantras. Most postures are fairly easy to do which allows almost all people to practice kundalini yoga.
In kundalini yoga we aim to be present in the body, the movement and the
present. To help keep concentration, we use breathing and mantras.

Yoga increases flexibility, strengthens the nervous system, reduces stress,
stimulates digestion, provides energy and creates balance in both body and mind.

The purpose of yoga is to create balance to achieve and maintain an increased awareness. The word kundalini means life force.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES AT THE SHALA

We remain open although in smaller scale until further notice.

In times of Covid-19 and other seasonal flu please observe the following guidelines when you come to practice at the shala:

– If possible shower before you come to practice

– Wash your hands before and after class. Use hand sanitizer

– Bring YOUR OWN yoga mat, avoid using the the studio mats

– Bring a sweat towel

– Take your mat home and clean it AND wipe it after every practice

– Wash your practice clothes and mat towel after each practice

– Stay at home if you’re feeling sick (you should never practice with fever or sore throat anyway)

– Avoid using props or blankets at the shala

– Be ok with not receiving any physical adjustments

We ask you all to kindly cooperate so that we don’t have to close or risk spreading any virus.
