DESCRIPTION: This class combines a gentle movement practice and yin postures. We will work on seated, standing and lying postures, with slow and mindful movements that focus on alignment and safety. Ample instruction will allow you to move safely into each pose, with sufficient time to employ props and make adjustments. Yin postures will focus on lengthening connective tissues, and may be interspersed or done at the end of class. The class truly honours the varied nature of each student’s body and range of motion. Yoga blocks, a yoga strap (or tie or scarf), a bolster (or cushions) and a blanket are recommended. Some props will be available for students to use, or purchase your own at www.yogakala.ca/shop

Preference is for full-series registration - it guarantees your spot for all six classes! Book using the 6-week series pass.

Drop-in booking possible when space permits, using the single class drop-in pass, 5-class or 10-class pass.
