Ellen is an experienced yoga teacher whose mission is simple: offer classes that leave students feeling better and more in tune with themselves. Ellen has been teaching yoga since 2007 and holds an E-RYT 200 designation with Yoga Alliance. Ellen completed her 200-hour Hatha & Power Yoga teacher training at Mountaingoat Yoga, and has continued her learning with specialized yoga and fitness training in anatomy, class design, functional strength training, older adult fitness, meditation, trauma-informed yoga, philosophy and ethics, yin yoga and restorative yoga, to name a few. She is nearing completion of her 500-hour level yoga teacher training with PranaShanti Yoga. Ellen offers hatha, flow, power, yin, meditation, yoga nidra, and restorative yoga classes. Her teaching style is inspired by over 20 years of practice and training, an appreciation of the mind-body connection and the reward of serving her students. Ellen’s classes are well structured and creative. She offers clear instruction and many options so that your practice is truly your own.
Description
This class will help you improve your functional balance through progressive and creative strength-building sequences, core work and focused movement. Options will be offered to ensure a practice that is challenging for your own energy level and to help progressively build your yoga practice. NO CLASS ON MAY 20, JUNE 3 AND JULY 1.
