L’s physical and mental abilities continue to grow and flourish as a coach and athlete. She started training using the CrossFit methodology in 2011 and immediately became drawn to the workout community, competition, and all aspects of it and how it enhanced her life. Coaching, programming, teaching, and studying are just a few staples of life where she thrives.
In 2012, she received her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer’s certification for Coaching and her Level 2 CrossFit Trainer’s Certification in 2016 and again in 2021. She’s worked with all sorts of people— from middle school athletes, 75 year olds coming off the couch, Adaptive Athletes, and traveling competitors. She truly enjoys supporting and encouraging athletes in all fitness communities both in and out of the gym. Currently, she is the owner of Good Mover Training- a boutique personal training program.
Description
Build strength and mobility in this 45 minute strength and conditioning class. Beginning with a warmup, leading into some mobility movements, strengthening exercises and a cool down. Prepare to have fun and sweat!

Suzie Berryhill
Suzie began her yoga journey as a college student looking for an alternate PE credit. Sixteen years later, her practice is still going strong! Suzie took her RYT 200 training in 2019 at the Asheville Yoga Center. In 2023, she decided to continue her yoga education with a 300 hour yoga teacher training from Breathe for Change, a program that works on teaching yoga in k-12 schools. Suzie is glad to work locally at Smoky Mountain High School and offer yoga classes to her fellow teachers. An RYT-500, Suzie believes yoga should be accessible to all people, and that the benefits of yoga extend beyond the mat. She loves incorporating this philosophy into all of her classes. All people can practice yoga.
Description
Yin is a slower paced form of yoga with longer holds (90 seconds to 5+ minutes) that is designed to reach the body's connective tissue. It will begin with a gentle warm-up, to make sure the body is prepared for the holds. Yin reduces stress and is designed to help with both physical relaxation and mental clarity. This class is beginner friendly, but also great for experienced yogis!

Courtney Jarrell
Courtney Jarrell first found yoga as a way to deal with the stress and anxiety of college life. While she found the postures good for her physical health, it was really the breathwork and positive effects on the mind that led Courtney to deepen her practice and seek out a teacher training program.
In 2009 she got her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification from the Davenport School of Yoga in Davenport, Iowa. Since then, she has been teaching a variety of yoga classes from aerial yoga in Iowa to restorative and adaptive classes in Utah. In 2020 she deepened her training with the Prenatal Yoga Certification from Yoga Education Institute.
Her passion is teaching alignment-based Hatha yoga of all levels. Her classes are open to all, offering students options to deepen their practice if they desire or offering modifications to fit their individual needs and restrictions. Courtney believes all people are able to do yoga and invites everyone to join her class.
Description
This basics Hatha Yoga class will focus on body awareness and alignment in postures. Using basic poses, we will strengthen the body and calm the mind. There will be modifications offered for those with restrictions and options to deepen the pose for those who want more of a challenge. All are welcome.

Kristi began teaching in 2018 after completing her 200-hour Teacher Training in Vinyasa. Since then she has taught a variety of classes including Vinyasa, Yin, Gentle, Power, and Aerial Yoga. She also enjoys experimenting with other styles of yoga such as AcroYoga. Her heart-centered classes focus on cultivating a deeper sense of compassion, self-love, and connection between your mind, body, and spirit through movement (Vinyasa), stillness (Yin), and breath-work. Description
This class combines Vinyasa and Yin yoga. Vinyasa, also known as Flow-Yoga, utilizes the breath to flow from one pose to another. Yin yoga focuses on holding poses (mostly seated or supine) for longer periods of time to get deeper into the connective tissues. The combination of Yang (more movement-based practices such as Vinyasa) with Yin (slower, more meditative practices such as Yin yoga) helps bring your mind, body, and spirit back into harmony and balance. This class is open to students of All Levels.
