In all vinyasa classes at YogaMinds we practice the Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) which involves the ‘vinyasa’s’. Do you want to improve your Vinyasa yoga practice, deepen it or start with this practice? Then this workshop is for you.
In this workshop we take time to discover the sun salutations and the vinyasa-flow with it’s challenging chaturanga dandasana. We’ll look into theory: you learn about the background, philosophy, meaning and elements (asana, bandha’s, dhristi, pranayama, vinyasa) of Vinyasa yoga. We work on awareness and synchronization of breath and movement, on a meditative flow.
We’ll also take our time to practice the chaturanga dandasana (low plank), so you’ll learn to feel how you can practice this technique the best in your own vinyasa flow.
