Vinyasa, like all yoga styles, originated from Hatha yoga. The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses for example. In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next.
Teachers lead classes that flow from one pose to the next without stopping to talk about the finer points of each pose. That way, students come away with a good workout as well as a yoga experience. Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow could all be considered vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.

This is class is not a beginners class. To prevent any injuries please try a Hatha class first before you start with Vinyasa!

Mommy and baby yoga is meant for mom and baby together. It is a combination of yoga and massage for baby and postnatal yoga for mommy. The lesson is aimed at giving the body attention and strengthening. We do this by activating the abdomen, back and pelvic floor muscles in a safe and gentle way. And all this while your baby is close to you. Throughout the practice you have the option to involve your baby in the movements with you. This way you can strengthen the bond with your baby in a playful way. And sometimes baby’s just sleep all class. That’s fine as well. The baby’s are welcome just as they are. Our classes are very casual, there is always time to feed or even change diapers.

Mamas without a baby can also participate the class.

Previous yoga experience is not necessary to fully benefit from the classes, and women who have practiced yoga before will find these classes are a great way to transition back to their pre-pregnancy practice.

The lessons are from 6 weeks after the delivery. Always check with your doctor first if the appropriate time is for you to start “exercise” again.

Babies are welcome until they start crawling.

Vinyasa, like all yoga styles, originated from Hatha yoga. The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses for example. In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next.
Teachers lead classes that flow from one pose to the next without stopping to talk about the finer points of each pose. That way, students come away with a good workout as well as a yoga experience. Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow could all be considered vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.

The idea during this class is to just take care of yourself and refill your cup. Unplugging from the hectic of life and reset while releasing the tension and stress in body and mind.
The class always starts with gentle movements and pranayama to ground and switch gears from wherever you came from.
A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.
In the class lots of props like blocks, bolsters, blankets etc are used as extra support along with a gentle flow to activate the body as we move into the supported poses.

During this class we will be using 100% pure essential oils. The oils can give you a deeper state of awareness or heightened state of consciousness. With its natural benefits it can increase focus, reduse stress, evoke the sense of calmness, support your immune system and so much more. The aroma therapy will be used in a diffuser and or on the skin (only if you want to use it on your skin).
