Yoga for Cancer is a monthly class, designed for people navigating cancer — whether in treatment, post-treatment, or in remission — as well as carers supporting someone through cancer.

Each session includes a 90-minute Yoga Therapy–informed practice, incorporating gentle movement, breathing, mindfulness, and rest, all tailored to meet you where you are on the day.

Classes are currently held on Monday afternoons in a calm, light-filled upstairs studio in Kingston. Yoga props, chairs and mats are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, along with a towel to use over shared equipment. You’re also welcome to bring a keep cup if you’d like a warm drink during or after practice — tea will be available.

Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited.

Accessibility: Please note the space is located on the second floor and requires stair access. There is limited street-front parking available, with additional open-air and undercover parking nearby (at Eyre Street Market).

My aim is to keep this class as accessible as possible, so pay what you want. Contributions you make will go towards covering room hire and teaching time. They can be made by cash, card, or bank transfer on the day. Ask me for the bank details if you want to do a transfer.

If it is your first time attending, you will need to complete a client registration form before participating in a class. Simply email info@yogawithsare.com to request the form if you do not get one within 24 hours of your first time signing up for class.
