Many of us move through life in a constant state of “on”. Busy minds, full schedules, screens, and responsibilities mean the nervous system rarely gets the chance to fully settle. In the natural world there are rhythms of activity and rest — day and night, movement and stillness — and our bodies are designed to live within those rhythms too. This course is an opportunity to step out of the constant pace for a while and give your nervous system the conditions it needs to soften, reset, and restore.

Our nervous systems are constantly responding to the world around us — stress, screens, busy schedules, noise, and responsibility. When that system stays switched “on” for too long, the body can start to feel tense, restless, fatigued, or overwhelmed.

This four-week course is designed to gently guide the body back towards balance. Through movement, breathwork, and rest, we support the nervous system in shifting out of constant “doing” mode and into a state where it can recover, restore, and adapt.

Rather than pushing the body, we focus on rhythm, repetition, and simplicity. This creates a sense of safety and familiarity, which is key when supporting nervous system change.

Across the course you can expect:
- slow, joint-friendly movement to release muscular tension
- breath practices that calm the stress response
- simple somatic awareness practices to notice and respond to stress earlier
- gentle insights into how the nervous system works
- longer periods of rest and guided relaxation

Each class follows a consistent structure, helping the body learn that it is safe to soften and settle.

This is not about escaping life — it’s about building the capacity to move through life with more steadiness and ease.

This course is ideal if you:
- feel stressed, overwhelmed, or mentally busy
- carry a lot of tension in your body
- feel tired but struggle to fully relax or sleep
- want practical tools to support your nervous system
- are looking for gentle, supportive movement

This course may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
- a strong fitness or workout-style class
- fast-paced or highly dynamic movement

No previous experience is needed. All practices are adaptable and you’re encouraged to move at a pace that feels supportive for you.
