DESCRIPTION: By slowing the mind and the beats of the heart, we will take a journey of powerful connection into the body, mind and soul. Working into different areas of the physical and subtle body to bring balance and a feeling of rejuvenation.

The three principles of Yin (the three Tattvas)
1. Come into the pose to an appropriate depth (find your edge and diminish the Ego)
2. Resolve to remain still (unless your body opens and allows you to go deeper)
3. Hold the pose for prolonged periods of time (1-20 minutes)

By following the three Tattvas of Yin, we are able work past the superficial layers of the body - tapping into our energy channels (meridian lines/Nadis) in a similar way to acupressure, as well as working into the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as the Tendons, Ligaments and Joint capsules. 

This is your opportunity to tune into the body and observe the mind.

Yin yoga is beneficial for all ages and levels of fitness, and is key to balancing our Yang lifestyles and practices.
