Menopause should be a celebrated time in a woman’s life, but with greater demands placed on women, it can often be a worrying and rather challenging transition. Hormonal fluctuations can lead to unpleasant symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, general aches, brain fog and unpredictable mood swings ranging from feeling down to unbridled rage 😡.png to name but a few!
Slightly more hidden side effects of the body losing oestrogen include loss of muscle tone and strength and bone density.

This class is suitable for women approaching menopause age (preparation is everything) through to post-menopause.
The class includes access to our community Facebook group where you can find useful information and share your experiences with others.

Yin Yoga Principles
The three principles of Yin (the three Tattvas)
1. Come into the pose to an appropriate depth (find your edge and diminish the Ego)
2. Resolve to remain still (unless your body opens and allows you to go deeper)
3. Hold the pose for prolonged periods of time (1-20 minutes)

By following the three Tattvas of Yin, we are able work past the superficial layers of the body - tapping into our energy channels (meridian lines/Nadis) in a similar way to acupressure, as well as working into the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as the Tendons, Ligaments and Joint capsules.

"Laura is a mother, hypnotherapist, mindset coach and founder of The Mindful Generation.

Laura specialises in using NLP based strategies to help parents of young children become more present, live a life of calm, balance and fulfilment and raise happier and more connected kids.

We will open the circle with a short grounding exercise to help switch off from the outside world and the busyness of the week. This gathering is designed to help you grow and develop your ability to connect to yourself and feelings of calm. There will be a chance to talk and express how you’re feeling and any parenting difficulties you’re experiencing but there is no expectation or obligation to talk if you don’t want to. This will be accompanied with a cacao ceremony where we can set our intentions for the days ahead and allow for a deep emotional release. The healing properties of cacao will support us in releasing all of our modern day stress and worries and connect back to our inner selves. Laura will talk about Conscious Parenting and share her knowledge on the nervous system and how we can support our children through their big emotions, as well as ourselves as mothers. We end each circle with a short guided meditation or EFT tapping exercise designed to help you to relax, unwind and feel ready to continue on with your weekend with a sense of ease and flow."
