DESCRIPTION: Building upon your existing key foundations and Yoga postures, this course is ideal for those wanting to work beyond the Sun Salutations and basic standing postures. We will be exploring balances, forward and backbends and even the beginnings of inversions such as shoulder stand. A great continuation from our Hatha Yoga (1) and for anyone wanting a progressive course, of step by step instruction in a friendly and supportive group environment.

This is the natural follow-up to Hatha Yoga (1). This course focuses on further practice of the basic postures, simple variations and the first preparations for the headstand. You will work on deepening the breath through new breathing techniques and learn a simple meditation technique to still the mind. This course is also ideal for those getting back into the practice after a lapse or simply wanting to revisit the basics.

Continue developing strength, control, balance and flexibility, breathing exercises for increasing your energy and focus and relaxation techniques for body, mind and spirit. Reducing physical &amp; mental tensions, gain improved sleep and increasing energy levels

Book in advance online £45 (per cycle)

ALLOW 70 minutes for the session.  Arrive 5 minutes early to rest &amp; prepare yourself for the class.  Allow rest at the end to allow the body to absorb the changes.  Helpful to BRING a yoga mat if you have one, this is not essential, the professional flooring is fully sprung &amp; non-slip, suited to your yoga practice.  Bring a clean hand towel for your practice.

WEAR clean, comfortable, exercise attire, that allows for stretching, bending, support &amp; movement.  No shoes are worn for the practice of yoga.  Bottled water is allowed in the studio.  Changing facilities available
