Highly experienced teacher in somatic movement, Yoga, dance and expression. Tanya encourages you to "work with what you've got", will guide you to feel your way into safe movement & postures, finding expansion, space and hopefully a little more physical freedom in your body, and peace in your heart and mind. You will be challenged, definitely, you'll also get to rest, recover, laugh and smile. Her embodied approach will leave you to feeling great about yourself, and discover your fabulousflow! With an incredible experiential understanding of biomechanics, she uses her skill as a movement reader, to bring out the best in students, giving them examples to imagine, corrections that work and the confidence to fall or fly!

Hatha Yoga (12 key) ๐ŸŒ | Garden Studio ๐ŸŒณ:
IN*PERSON, IN*DOORS & OUT*DOOR Yoga Practice


๐ŸŒ Classic "12 key" Hatha practice integrating breath, body & mind at a steady, calm pace.

๐ŸŒ Non-flowing class (except for sun salutation), longer held postures

๐ŸŒ General level, mixed abilities class, where you are encouraged to practice at your level of the posture.

โœจ Inversions practiced (variations offered)
โœจ Pranayama (breathing techniques)
โœจ Guided relaxation

๐ŸŒ Alongside some strong postures that deepen your practice and take you on a journey of opening up your body, gentler variations will be offered. Breathing, meditation & proper relaxation will be woven in.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE LIVE SHALA GARDEN SESSIONS ๐ŸŒž:

Please observe social distancing protocol. There will be no access to the main property. Please do not attend if you are in the shielding category or if you or a member of your household has symptoms of Covid- 19.

Please BRING YOUR OWN MAT to practice on + BLOCKS/BELTS if you prefer to use them.

The SHALA๐Ÿก GARDEN ๐ŸŒป, although, fairly flat, has a little un-even ground, not unlike the park, be prepared. There are 2 CATS ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿˆwho wander freely & although unlikely, they may lovingly interrupt your practice. The garden has been planted with bee ๐Ÿ & butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹ friendly plants, this may also interrupt your practice. Please do advise, in advance of any precautions you may need to take.

โ˜”๏ธ In the case of rain or bad weather, the session will run IN*DOORS with the doors open (dress to stay warm), or switch your class and practice LIVE, ON*LINE via zoom.

The SHALA & GARDEN are in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, kindly arrive & leave with respect to our very, very friendly neighbours & their families.

There are shelves by the entrance to place your shoes & bags.
