Highly experienced teacher in somatic movement, Yoga, dance and expression. Tanya encourages you to "work with what you've got", will guide you to feel your way into safe movement & postures, finding expansion, space and hopefully a little more physical freedom in your body, and peace in your heart and mind. You will be challenged, definitely, you'll also get to rest, recover, laugh and smile. Her embodied approach will leave you to feeling great about yourself, and discover your fabulousflow! With an incredible experiential understanding of biomechanics, she uses her skill as a movement reader, to bring out the best in students, giving them examples to imagine, corrections that work and the confidence to fall or fly!

๐Ÿ Hatha Yoga asanas are linked into "flows", with focus on breath & alignment. It can be very meditative, it can also be challenging.

๐Ÿ A flowing yoga class, that will listen to the weather, the environment, changes & general needs that arrive each week

MOVE - BREATHE & RELAX IN AN ACTIVE, YET NURTURING WAY

๐Ÿ Level 1-2 class. Lots of familiar postures, with demonstration & instruction, allowing you to work at a calm, steady pace, reconnecting body & mind

๐Ÿ Each session concludes with relaxation &/or seated meditation

๐Ÿ An "energising yet calm" class, for those who prefer an uncomplicated practice, moderate pace, with time to work with what you've got.

๐Ÿ Open level - mixed abilities class.
Expertise NOT required.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE LIVE SHALA GARDEN SESSIONS ๐ŸŒž:

If you are attending an outdoor session, please observe the 2 metre social distancing. There will be no access to the main property. Please do not attend if you are in the shielding category or if you or a member of your household has symptoms of Covid- 19.

Please BRING YOUR OWN MAT to practice on + BLOCKS/BELTS if you prefer to use them.

The SHALA๐Ÿก GARDEN ๐ŸŒป, although, fairly flat, has a little un-even ground, not unlike the park, be prepared. There are 2 CATS ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿˆwho wander freely & although unlikely, they may lovingly interrupt your practice. The garden has been planted with bee ๐Ÿ & butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹ friendly plants, this may also interrupt your practice. Please do advise us, in advance of any precautions you may need to take.



The SHALA & GARDEN are in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, kindly arrive & leave with respect to our very, very friendly neighbours & their families.

There is a shoe rack by the entrance. Where you can place your shoes & bags.
Please turn phone/device off, switch bluetooth function off, before starting your practice
