Yin yoga tends to become a seamless addition to our yoga practice at this time of year. In Chinese Philosophy, Yin means: cool, still, slow, dark and soft.
Yin Yoga holds stretches over a period of time to release tension within the strong connective tissues of the body; offering the time to reflect, breath, stretch and release.
Yin Yoga unfolds body and mind in a way that allows us to soften, become less attached and develop a compassion for our body.
