Welcome to Peace of Heart Yoga! My name is Megan (Megs) Bennett and I have been guiding yoga classes in Niagara Region since 2014. Hatha Yoga is my primary class style, and is focused on cultivating balance in the mind, body and spirit. Classes are accessible to all levels and abilities and are guided thoughtfully and with clear instruction.

What is Yoga? The word Yoga means "union" or, "connection". In the practice of Yoga we strive to unite our body, breath and mind using a combination of different strategies including physical postures (Asanas), Breathwork (Pranayama), and Mediation techniques. Yoga helps us balance our bodies, our energy and our emotions. It teaches us inner and outer strength, endurance and the ability to sit with discomfort. We learn that all things shall pass, and that every moment is sacred and fleeting, thus embracing the Present Moment. Yoga is a human practice where we celebrate our difference and encourage each other with compassion and love.
