Description
Slow doesn’t mean soft—and we like a little grit with our grace.
Think slow means easy? Think again. This class is your invitation to simmer—not sprint—into deep, delicious core and strength work. Built on the steady foundation of Hatha yoga, Core & Restore is for those who like their strength slow-cooked and their movement purposeful. You’ll move with intention, breath, and a healthy dose of attitude.
You’ll hold postures a little longer, dig a little deeper, and build the kind of strength that sticks with you—in your body and your mindset. Expect planks (yes, plural), sneaky balance challenges, and core engagement that doesn’t quit… followed by the kind of restorative cooldown that makes it all worth it.
Perfect for anyone who wants to feel strong without the frantic pace of a power flow. You’ll walk out grounded, a little sore (the good kind), and a lot more badass.
Open to all skill levels.

In 2023, I initiated my yoga journey at Black Swan Yoga, subsequent to a spinal injury incurred in an accident, which led me to discover asana practice. Following my teacher's recommendation, I pursued and successfully completed a 200hr yoga teacher certification through a scholarship program. Within a year, I accumulated over 300 hours of studio practice and completed my teacher training, supplemented by a 300hr yoga therapeutics course. I was awarded a scholarship by the Trini Foundation to study Ashtanga yoga. Currently, I instruct yoga for pain management at a local boxing gym, integrating my two years of group fitness expertise. Outside of yoga, I enjoy street photography in downtown SA.

Description
This is a back-to-basics class designed for real people with real bodies and real lives. We break down classic yoga poses, focus on breath and alignment, and go at a pace that lets you actually learn instead of flailing through a flow. There’s no rush, no pressure, and absolutely no need to be perfect.
More seasoned yogis? You’re totally welcome too. Revisit the foundations, reconnect with your breath, and maybe remember why you started in the first place.
✨ You’ll leave feeling:
• More confident in your body
• Calmer in your mind
• Slightly taller (maybe—it happens)
All levels welcome!

Description
This isn’t your fast-flow scroll-and-go yoga. Stillness & Strength is a deliberate, full-body Hatha practice that blends breathwork, meditation, and held poses to build awareness, alignment, and real internal power. Think less hustle, more presence. Less “perfect pose,” more conscious connection.
We’ll move slowly but deeply—working through accessible postures with time to adjust, breathe, and feel. Newer yogis are welcome (modifications are always offered), and more experienced practitioners will find plenty of space to push further.
Quiet doesn’t mean easy and still doesn’t mean soft.
Open to all skill levels.

Gina has had an interest in fitness since childhood and after a long and difficult personal season found yoga. She has discovered how to truly love herself and others through a Christ focused practice. Her passion is to share God's love with others so they can find freedom and balance in their lives. She completed her RYT-200 in 2020 and the next year continued RYT300 level one yoga therapy certification. She also has training for yoga nidra and through Veteran's Yoga Project Resilient MIndfulness to help those dealing with PTSD. She is also a group fitness instructor who teaches a wide variety of ages and styles. Gina's favorite style of yoga is Yin because it keeps one flexible and stills the mind. She also enjoys strength based yoga and a long savasana with meditation. She aims to be love and light to all she meets and to help them do the same.
Gina's favorite place is home with her husband of 25 years, but she also loves traveling and experiencing new adventures.

Description
This is not your average “stretch and nap” session. Yin Yoga is the deep tissue work of the yoga world. Poses are held for 3–5 minutes (yes, on purpose), targeting the connective tissue—the stuff that makes your body actually feel better when it’s tight, stiff, or screaming at you for sitting weird at your desk all day.
You won’t break a sweat, but don’t be fooled—this practice is quietly intense. As you sink into long-held postures, you’ll meet your edge, breathe through the mental chatter, and maybe even make peace with the part of you that avoids stillness.
Expect props, floor poses, silence (but the good kind), and a nervous system that feels like it just got a cosmic hug.
Perfect for:
• Anyone feeling tight, burned out, or both
• People who say, “I can’t slow down” (spoiler: that means you need to)
• Humans with hips and hamstrings
Open to all skill levels.

Description
Welcome to the class where you get “inspired” to do…nothing active. Yin-spired is your Thursday evening permission slip to slow down, stretch out, and officially tap out of the week before Friday even shows up.
Expect long and often challenging holds that give your muscles time to unclench, your fascia time to soften, and your mind time to stop replaying that one awkward thing you said three days ago. This is deep, floor-based stretching for the chronically overworked, the deeply tired, and anyone who needs a soft place to land before they face whatever fresh chaos tomorrow brings.
With props, blankets, and a “no gold stars for trying harder” policy, Yin-spired invites you to surrender tension, breathe deeply, and actually feel supported for an hour. Think of it as self-care, but with better lighting and fewer expectations.
Come get Yin-spired—because taking care of yourself on a Thursday is the most rebellious thing you’ll do all week.

Description
Welcome to the class where we don’t just do yoga… we go looking for trouble (the fun kind). This version of Asana Adventure Hour dives into the lesser-known corners of the yoga world — the poses you didn’t learn in your first class, the variations you didn’t know existed, and the shapes that make you say, “I’m sorry… you want me to put my leg where?”
Each week highlights a different theme and takes you on a guided tour of creative transitions, spicy upgrades, and variations that expand your toolkit and your confidence. It’s challenging, but not in a “why did I come here” way — more in a “look at me learning things I didn’t know I could do” kind of way.
You’ll get clear cues, plenty of options, and a supportive space to explore edges you didn’t know you had. If you’re ready to level up your practice with curiosity, courage, and a little sass…this is your adventure hour.
Open to yogis with some experience.

Welcome to the class that knows exactly what kind of week you’ve had. This slow flow is your Friday morning permission slip to move, breathe, stretch, and not totally fall apart before the weekend finally saves us.

Come in tired, leave slightly less feral. It’s Finally Friday — you’ve earned this.
Open to all levels.
