About The Sanctuary by Believe
Tammy Calhoun | Founder, Believe Hot Yoga & The Sanctuary by Believe
Tammy Calhoun is the heart behind Believe Hot Yoga.
A space born from her deep love for healing, movement, and faith. With over two decades of experience in holistic wellness, Tammy brings a nurturing, grounded presence to every class she teaches.
After years of guiding others through life transitions, weight loss, and spiritual growth, Tammy felt a divine calling to Boquete, Panama, where she opened Believe Hot Yoga as a gift to the local community. Her approach to yoga is both accessible and transformative; fusing breath, stillness, strength, and sweat with a message of hope and self-belief.
Tammy specializes in working with women navigating midlife, offering a safe space to reconnect with the body, quiet the mind, and experience renewed vitality, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
She is joyfully married to her grade school sweetheart, Steve, and together they have raised four beautiful children. When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find Tammy alongside her husband, volunteering through their missionary efforts, tending their herbal garden, traveling to spend time with their children, or lovingly restoring their family homestead, Casa De La Fe, in the Chiriquí Highlands.
She truly believes healing begins when we show up, just as we are, and begin again.
