About The Sanctuary by Believe

The Sanctuary by Believe is a quiet, intentionally designed infrared yoga and bodywork studio located upstairs in Plaza San Francisco, Alto Boquete.

Created as a place of restoration, strength, and steady return to the body, The Sanctuary offers a gentle yet deeply supportive approach to movement, healing, and self care. Every detail of the space has been thoughtfully curated to serve students and clients who value quality, privacy, and a calm, grounded environment.

Our signature offering is infrared supported yoga, designed to warm the body from the inside out, support circulation, ease joint stiffness, and create a more comfortable and sustainable practice at every stage of life. Classes are intentionally small, unhurried, and welcoming to both new and experienced students.

In addition to movement, The Sanctuary offers therapeutic massage and bodywork sessions supported by infrared warmth, creating a deeply restorative experience focused on nervous system regulation, muscular recovery, and overall wellbeing.

The Sanctuary by Believe exists for those seeking more than a workout. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with the body, and cultivate long term vitality through mindful movement, therapeutic care, and meaningful community.

This studio was built on a simple belief. Healing happens when the body feels safe, supported, and gently guided back into balance.

The Sanctuary was founded by Tammy Calhoun, whose life and work are shaped by a quiet faith, a deep sense of calling, and a steady trust in God’s gentle leading.

She is humbly and joyfully married to her grade school sweetheart, Steven Calhoun, and together they have raised their 4 beautiful children and now live and work in Panama.

This space was born from their shared desire to serve with open hearts, to walk alongside others with compassion, and to offer a place where grace, care, and restoration are gently woven into everyday life.

“God bless, Namaste, see you on the mat.” - Tammy
