I love yoga because it stirs up stagnant energies held within the body. Brings things to the surface to be observed, and at times released. Yoga teaches us how to purify and heal the physical and subtle bodies so that we can find clarity, peace and deeper states of love.
I am passionate about conscious movement, movement with the breath, meditation and the vedas. I try teach from a place of vulnerability and personal experience, and like to incorporate some pranayama and meditation (or a juicy long savasana) into most of my classes.
I admire the strength that is found or realised through yoga, and hope to help my students discover and embody this strength.
Description
This class starts with active postures, flowing sequences and core exercises for the first 30 minutes. The class will then move into the long holding stretches of Yin yoga for the next 20 minutes and finish with a relaxation. It's suitable for all levels.
