Welcome to our supportive community where we practice the ancient art of Yoga.
You don't need any prior experience or knowledge.
There is no expectation.
All you need to do is show up!
Description
Along with calming breath-work to reset our mind and energy level, I will also introduce various "aum" and chanting techniques. These have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and even lower blood sugar.
This session is 1 hour and 15 minutes. to make sure you get a full final rest with soul-calming music. This class ends with a long rest (savasana) period. For those that care to, I will give a head/neck/shoulder adjustment with soothing essential oils.
A healthy and healing way to end the week and be refreshed for the beginning of a new one.
What you need to bring:
- Yoga mat (get a good one! ask me if you have questions on this)
- Water
Nice to have:
- A Mexican-style cottony blanket,
- 2 blocks
- Yoga strap
- Cushion
*some blocks/straps available in class
