About Amalie Yoga
I am a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, an Integrative Restoration (iRest) Yoga Nidra Meditation teacher, and am certified by The Driven Yogi in creating safe, inclusive yoga spaces across race, gender, and ability. My goal as a teacher is to help students build strength, flexibility, and balance, in mind and body. Part of the magic of teaching yoga is witnessing how the practice unfolds in a unique way for each student. I strive to create a welcoming class environment where community thrives and students may just find that they feel more ease in life as a result of their yoga practice.
My love for yoga began in 2010 during a prenatal series where the experience of moving, breathing, and being in community with other expectant mothers felt transformative. Thus began an exploration that continues to challenge and inspire me, while improving my physical and mental health. Through yoga practice, I have a stronger connection to my body and a greater sense of inner calm.
I am grateful to my many incredible teachers, especially Yiwen Chang who shares her deep knowledge and wisdom generously and with love.
