Janita Janssen
Janita completed her first 200-hour vinyasa teacher Training in South Africa in 2017, after practicing yoga for more than 15 years. She studied Buddhist philosophy and meditation in India in the same year and had the good fortune of continuing studies in mindfulness, philosophy and Tibetan movement practices with her Tibetan teachers during 2020. She has also completed a further 300 hour vinyasa teacher training as well as a 50 hour yin teacher training to be able to offer guidance in a variety of mindful movement practices. In addition to teaching in person, Janita facilitates international retreats and mindful experiences around the world and is currently teaching a new generation of yoga teachers together with her yoga partner in South Africa.

Today Janita is teaching this class instead of Charlotte. That’s why today this class is in English. Dit is een live les in onze bovenzaal die tevens online te volgen is via Zoom. Yin yoga is een rustige, meditatieve yogavorm waarbij je gedurende lange tijd in één houding blijft. Het verenigt inzichten uit de Chinese geneeskunst, yoga en mindfulness en is gebaseerd op de meridiaan-theorie. De innerlijke houding bij yin yoga is er één van wachten, ontspannen, luisteren, voelen, loslaten en in het moment zijn.
