Description
This one-hour restorative yoga practice will combine gentle breath work, centering meditation, and deep relaxation to restore your nervous system, quiet your mind, and calm your heart.
Each specially designed class will utilize bolsters/pillows, blankets, blocks, and straps to provide optimal support for your body. Given the gentle nature of this class, dress in layers for warmth. This supported practice can make space for profound restoration and healing.
This restorative yoga class is held the first Monday of the month from 5:30-6:30 pm on October 4th, November 1th and December 6th.
Yoga props that we will use are:
-yoga bolster or pillows or couch cushions
-several blankets or large bath towels
-2 blocks or a stack of books
-strap or belt
A standard yoga bolster is not required to attend however if you do wish to add one to your home studio, my favorite is the Hugger Mugger's standard (rectangle) bolster.
All bodies and levels of experience are welcome to attend.
