These classes are good for those with some experience as I can modify and adapt poses for different levels..

Iyengar yoga emphasises detailed correctness in the poses and develops your awareness and understanding. Key elements are attention to alignment, specific sequencing of postures, the use of props, modifications, and timings.

Similarly if you are pregnant, please let me know in advance of class. The practice of yoga asanas requires you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is better to build up slowly than to force and strain.

This class is for students with at least four years regular experience of Iyengar yoga who can maintain a stable head and shoulder balance or know the variations. Students should have basic yoga equipment of a belt, 4 foam blocks, 2 bricks and at least one blanket (a large bath towel works too).
Please be sure your camera is far enough away from your mat so I can see as much of you as possible.
You will receive a Zoom link every week with the class time reminder. It will be the same link every week.
