An introduction to alignment-based hatha yoga, suitable for students with no yoga experience or those whose previous practice has been with "gym" or flow yoga. The 8 week series will introduce the core standing poses, forward extensions, and arm movements of the hatha yoga repertoire, as well as principles of alignment, use of props, and somatic awareness for a yoga practice that is at once safe and transformative.
