Lisa Rippon

Lisa commenced Yoga in 2002. A daily practice gradually led to a three-year apprenticeship.

She teaches from the heart, with patience and encouragement and hopes to pass on to others the mental calmness and clarity that yoga has given her, in addition to the physical benefits of a regular asana practice.

Lisa brings to her classes warmth, lightness and a sense of connection. She encourages students to practise “Ahimsa” which translates in Sanskrit to kindness and compassion. In the asana practice this means looking after our bodies and growing into the postures by not pushing. By practising Ahimsa in the yoga room, these qualities can be shared outside by being kind and compassionate to others.
