Ashtanga Mysore, Led Class (Pre-Booking required)
July 12, 2025 •
6:30 am - 8:00 am
Arathi Menon
Arathi was introduced to yoga asanas as a little girl when she saw her maternal grand uncle in a sirsasana which fascinated her. She started practising yoga as a teenager, learning first from books and pictures of yoga schools.
She started her ashtanga yoga practice at a yoga studio in Bangalore. On a whim and a desire to pursue the method under the guidance of Guruji Sharath Jois, she moved to Mysore in the year 2016. She was authorised to teach the method by Guruji in Feb 2019.
A journalist and writer passionate about environment and stories of human interest, she continues to enthusiastically imbibe lessons in yoga, humility and gratitude from Guruji Sharath Jois.
