Class begins in a comfortable sitting meditation with a mindful intention, breathing techniques and hand mudra. Followed by renewing moving qigong (chi) flows and body tapping. Qigong involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being. The benefits of qigong and body tapping include lowered stress and anxiety, increased focus, improved balance and flexibility. They have also been shown to reduce the risk of chronic diseases. We finalize class with a relaxing lying meditation that can include using the gong, rain stick, chimes and essential oils to balance our senses. Meditation allows your mind/body to deeply relax, planting the seeds of happy chi and harmony within. These arts are accumulative practices. The more you practice the more you can truly feel the positive benefits, physically, mentally and emotionally. Our meditation classes are accessible to all ages and all levels of meditation experience.
