About Bladder Graffiti Yoga

“The goal is serenity. Balance. Finding true peace in your own skin.” – Rachel Brathen

My first contact with yoga was over 30 years ago in India. But it wasn't until I was much older that I began practicing daily. This daily practice helps me to stay healthy, calm, and relaxed despite my cancer. You can find out more on my blogs, “Bladdergraffiti,” at https://bladdergraffiti.com and "Bladdergraffitiyoga" at https://bladdergraffitiyoga.com.

I trained as a yoga teacher to learn more, but during my training I discovered how much I love sharing yoga with others. For details see my Yoga Alliance Directory page https://r.yogaalliance.org/TeacherPublicProfile?tid=390414
I firmly believe that you are never too old to learn something new. My oldest participant is 86 years old and still going strong!

Each yoga session is a Hatha yoga one and begins with an opening meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama), followed by yoga poses (asanas) and a relaxation phase (shavasana) at the end.

If you're new to the class you're welcome to arrive 10 mins before class so we can get to know each other and you have a chance to ask any questions.

I'm looking forward to seeing you on the mat!
