Description
Yin yoga provides opportunity to learn more about our bodies. Slow-paced, as poses are held for a longer period as we target the deeper tissues of the body, including the fascia. Most Yin poses are performed on the floor and focus on a specific part of the body such as the hips, pelvis,and lower spine. The result is greater ease of motion with less effort. We feel more relaxed and lighter when we free up adhesions and “gluing” that solidify in the fascia, due to aging, injury, and lifestyle. The atmosphere of our Yin class is unhurried, and relaxed, with a focus on self-exploration and discovery.
