Yin yoga provides opportunity to spend more time learning how we hold our bodies and how we relate to our bodies. We incorporate longer held lying, kneeling and seated poses. Our focus is on the different layers of the body with relaxed muscles as we target the hips, low back, inner and outer legs, shoulders, chest, and arms. This practice prepares both the body and the mind for patience and deeper experiences in meditation. It is a great compliment to life.
