This class incorporates restorative poses, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and deep relaxation. The restorative poses are held for 3-5 minutes, using props to support the body in a gentle, unfolding stretch. Breath is used as a tool to direct prana (life force/energy) into areas of the body with mindful intention. We conclude with Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) to promote deep restoration for both body and mind.

This class is especially beneficial for those recovering from illness or injury, or experiencing stress. You’ll learn techniques to downregulate the nervous system and return the body to its natural healing state. No prior experience is necessary.
All props provided however you are welcome to BYO mat, blanket, bolster, blocks if you have your own.

The class is held at 6 Browallia Place Port Macquarie. You can park in the front carpark or on the street. From the front of the block, you will see a sign that says Dr Stuart Kennedy, walk around to the left of the building, you will find the yoga studio at the back.
