The pain creeps out of your chest every time you remember the event, unconsciously driving you to actions and decisions that are not aligned with your heart and the true quality of your being.

We tend to hold on to this pain because it requires us to uncover and harvest the lessons that come with such events.

The inability to forgive causes us to replay the scenario over and over in our minds, simultaneously feeling the pain in our bodies as if it’s happening now. This is what we call PTSD—reliving unresolved pain due to the inability to forgive, which retraumatizes us repeatedly.
