Beginner FUNdamentals!
You are ready to start your yogic journey. This is the best part! This class teaches the basics for people brand new to yoga. Everyone is welcome and there is absolutely no experience or flexibility required. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and stretch freely.
This class is designed for those who have never practised yoga, students with limited mobility or those would just like to brush up on foundation alignments. We will introduce the foundations of hatha yoga such as body positions, yogic breathing, and the use of yoga props. We will break down basic poses and transitions through slow and detailed instruction both in English and Sanskrit.
This is a 6 consecutive weeks class to get your practice started! This class will take you through the poses step by step. You will learn exactly how to position your body so that you can feel what is it’s like in the posture. There will be modifications to suits everyone’s body.
