Unlike other forms of yoga, its goal is not to stretch or strengthen muscles but to activate the body's natural processes for self-regulation and equilibrium. Using props to support the body in comfortable poses, Restorative Yoga promotes rest and allows the body to enter a state of deep relaxation, helping to alleviate stress, balance the nervous system, and encourage overall well-being.
