Description

What if I told you that yoga is NOT about fancy poses? That yoga is actually about how you live your life, how you connect and how you respond to life off the mat. True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Join us as we learn about living well as we explore together the Atlas of the Heart by Berne Brown. In this workshop we’ll explore the geography of emotions, and how the language we use shapes not just how we communicate to others but also how we experience them ourselves. Together we will journey through 87 emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human. We’ll explore the necessary skills and actionable framework for meaningful conversation while developing the language and tools to access new choices and second chances~as we build deeper connections to ourselves and others.

We’ll share pot luck brunch style, explore the book together (with guidance), interact and create meaningful discussion and deepen our understanding of human emotions and how to regulate them, while building a supportive community and boosting health~physically, mentally and emotionally.
