Owner and certified RYT 500 instructor Jennifer Green is a retired USAF veteran, who served as a medic and later earned her nursing degree specializing in emergency medicine & trauma.
Jennifer is a passionate advocate for the education and development of neuroplasticy behind the yoga practice and the integration of these practices as an adjunct and complimentary practice to traditional medical, physical & mental health therapies. Her work is grounded in deep understanding of the neuroscience and biology of trauma and the impact of stress on the body and mind.
Certifications include:
iRest Yoga Nidra, Warriors At Ease Level 2, Veterans Yoga Project, 300 hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga ~TCTSY, Restorative Yoga, Somatic Therapy, Trauma Informed Yoga for Sexual Assault, Medical Neuroscience
Description
Celebrate the holiday season at the studio sanctuary! Studio members are invited to gather together with our commUNITY for an afternoon of conversation, celebration and tasty treats~if you’d like to join the fun the studio party is 12-1:30 with charcuterie, sweets and hot cider and tea along with our Holiday Cookie Swap! Bring two dozen home baked cookies (or if you don’t bake pick up some special cookies at one of your local bakeries~no prepackage/grocery store please) and a container to bring home your goodies! Drink, eat and be merry with us!! You don’t have to participate in the cookie swap to come and join the commUNITY celebration!!
2-4 pm is the Tannery Marketplace Holiday Open House so bring along your holiday wish lists and shop local!! The Tannery has some really great new businesses to discover and this is the perfect opportunity to check them out!
