Description

Release physical, mental, and emotional tension as you settle into an evening of deep rest and restoration.

Offered twice each month in alignment with the new and full moon cycles, Sound Sleep blends the immersive healing of a sound bath with gentle somatic NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) techniques. The rich, soothing tones of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, and other subtle instruments create a living soundscape that invites your body to soften and your nervous system to unwind.

As the evening unfolds, create your own cozy nest with blankets, bolsters, and props — or settle into a zero-gravity chair. Windows open wide to the Ammonoosuc River, letting its gentle murmur and summer breezes flow through the space, mingling with candlelight and the resonant vibrations of the bowls. Cool eye pillows and soft lighting complete this riverside sanctuary of ease and quiet restoration.

Gentle somatic guidance weaves throughout the practice, inviting simple awareness of breath, body sensations, and present-moment experience. For ninety minutes, there is nothing to do, nowhere else to be, and nothing to achieve — only an invitation to surrender to a slower, more peaceful rhythm and let the sounds carry you deeper into blissful rest.
As the bowls harmonize with the river’s steady song, this becomes a rare opportunity to be fully held in stillness, allowing tension to melt away and renewal to arise naturally.

**Please bring layers and cozy socks. Many people appreciate extra warmth as the nervous system drops in temperature during deep rest, even on warm summer evenings.
