Description
A welcoming and adaptable practice designed to build strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness through a combination of seated and standing postures.
This unique approach uses the chair as an integral part of the practice, creating opportunities to develop confidence, coordination, stability, and functional strength while honoring individual needs, abilities, and goals. A variety of options are offered throughout class, allowing each participant to discover the balance between support and challenge that feels right for them.
Classes may also incorporate light weights, resistance bands, therapy balls, balance pads, and other supportive tools to further enhance strength, balance, and overall well-being.
Because the practice does not require getting down to or up from the floor, it can be an excellent option for those who prefer to remain upright, have difficulty transitioning between floor and standing positions, experience vertigo or balance concerns, are recovering from an injury or illness, or simply enjoy this style of practice.
Whether you’re seeking a supportive entry point into yoga, complementing an active lifestyle, navigating changes in mobility, or looking for a sustainable way to move and care for your body, SUPPORTED offers meaningful opportunities to move, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
60 minutes • Accessible for everyBODY
