Owner and certified RYT 500 instructor Jennifer Green is a retired USAF veteran, who served as a medic and later earned her nursing degree specializing in emergency medicine & trauma. Jennifer is a passionate advocate for the education and development of neuroplasticy behind the yoga practice and the integration of these practices as an adjunct and complimentary practice to traditional medical, physical & mental health therapies. Her work is grounded in deep understanding of the neuroscience and biology of trauma and the impact of stress on the body and mind. Stretch your mind and body on this 5 mile hike with a yoga twist! Join me for a guided walking/hiking meditation as we explore the ancient forest along a quiet river to the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls. We will begin our morning with a grounding walking/hiking meditation with mindful reflective pauses as we journey to our destination. Arriving at the falls, we’ll gather for a gentle yoga practice and indulge in a guided Ayurvedic self massage using lime infused coconut oil. This simple relaxing practice will ground and center you, bringing blissful relaxation. After our practice we will take time for lunch and enjoying the healing waters and the falls before heading back down.

What to bring: Pack a towel, with your lunch and water, extra layers, sunscreen and bug spray.
Clothing: Hiking boots or supportive trail shoes. Comfortable clothing-no cotton recommended. You may want a hat or rain gear.

Difficulty: This hike is rated easy/moderate and is accessible for those with no mobility limitations. There is some easy rock scrambling involved. Total hike time with yoga practice and lunch break approximately 5 hours.
