Andrea Bosques, MSW, is a bilingual Clinical Social Worker and multidisciplinary artist based in Puerto Rico and licensed by the state department of Puerto Rico, known for integrating visual arts into therapeutic and community-based practice. Andrea began her artistic formation in 2000 at the Centro de Adiestramiento y Bellas Artes (CABA), where she completed her middle and high school education with a specialization in visual arts. She later pursued architectural studies for 2 years at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, further strengthening her understanding of structure, space, and design. In 2010, she earned a certification in fashion design from the Lisa Thon School of Design, expanding her creative practice into wearable art and design. Her early artistic career includes the development of the children’s coloring book Mabodamaca (2009) in collaboration with the NUPA “ Nacion Unida Pro Ambiente” at the University of Puerto Rico Aguadilla, promoting environmental awareness through art. In 2010, she held a solo exhibition in Isabela, Puerto Rico, marking her formal entry into the local art scene. Andrea continued to expand her artistic presence through diverse collaborations and exhibitions. In 2012, she exhibited her work at Galería Yemayá and worked as an illustrator for the storybook and poetry CD Sweet Watcher by Lourdes Pérez. That same year, she designed album artwork and visual materials for Pérez’s European concert tour. In 2013, she collaborated with fashion designer Adriana Carolina at Galería GABA, blending visual art and fashion in a gallery setting. Her work has also reached international and cultural platforms, including her participation as an artistic contributor at the Día de los Muertos Festival in 2017. Additionally, Andrea has collaborated as an illustrator with the United Nations Environment Programme, creating interactive murals across Puerto Rico focused on environmental education and community engagement.

This art mindfulness workshop will focused on self reflection, self esteem, creativity and expression.
1 hour and 45 minutes workshop.
Art materials will be included. ( mix media)
Participants will create a self portrait.
