Description

Self-Breema is a method of solo exercises that uses gentle, rhythmic movements to harmonize the body, mind, and feelings, leading to greater presence, vitality, and balance. The exercises range from calm to energetic and are designed to help practitioners release stress, increase flexibility, and bring a sense of peace to their daily lives. It is based on applying the universal principles of Breema, such as "No Judgment," "No Force," and "Single Moment/Single Activity," through simple, self-directed movements.
How it works
Unifying body, mind, and feelings: Self-Breema is a method for bringing your physical, mental, and emotional aspects into a common, unified aim.
Using principles of harmony: The exercises are designed to help you experience and apply the universal principles of Breema, like "No Judgment," "No Force," and "Single Moment/Single Activity".
Releasing tension and stress: The movements are natural and tension-free, using the relaxed weight of the body to release stress and increase vitality.
Connecting to the body: Through practice, you develop a deeper connection to your body, which can extend to a greater sense of presence in your whole life.
Balancing energy: The exercises can be both calming and energizing. They can help overcome lethargy by increasing energy or relieve stress by decreasing tension, depending on the specific exercise.
What to expect in a practice
Simple movements: Practice involves gentle stretches, rhythmic movements, and unique postures that can be done sitting, standing, or lying down.
Focus on presence: The exercises encourage you to be fully present in each moment and activity, even in simple actions like shifting your weight or moving your hands.
Variety of exercises: There is a wide range of movements, from slow and contemplative to vigorous and playful.
Holistic approach: The exercises are a form of "bodywork for your own body," designed to support physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance.
