This practice is open to ALL bodies! Yin Yoga is a stretching class that is done low to the mat and poses are held for 2-5 minutes. There will be variations given for each pose. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue known as “Fascia” (ligaments, bones, joints); generally in the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Yang Yoga stimulates the flow of energy in the body before the next posture. These poses are usually brief -1 minute holds. Yoga Nidra is a type of meditation; a guided journey deep within ourselves where we can release all that we are holding and experience complete relaxation and ease. Join me, while soft drumming plays in the background, as you settle onto your mat, and you explore your body where it is and not where you wish it to be. This is your time to nurture and take care of YOU! I will offer essential oils from Young Living and Vitality, from time to time. I look forward to holding space with you and connecting on our mats.
