Carol Denholm
Carol's yoga journey began in 2017 with inspiring classes at The Energy Lab, where she discovered the profound physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the practice. Her passion for yoga deepened over the years, leading her to complete her 200-hour Teacher Training at Skyhawk Yoga in 2024. She also earned a Mindfulness Certification through Yoga Renew, further enriching her approach to teaching and personal growth.
Drawn to the deeply nurturing nature of restorative yoga, Carol found her true calling in Hot Stone Restorative Yoga. She fell in love with its calming, therapeutic qualities and now specializes in guiding students through relaxing and restorative experiences that encourage healing and self-connection.
Carol’s classes are designed to provide a soothing sanctuary where students can unwind, tap into their inner wisdom, and experience deep restoration. Her intention is to create a peaceful and supportive space where mind and body can truly relax.
Description
Restorative yoga is a gentle, calming style of yoga that focuses on deep relaxation and stress reduction. It involves holding poses for extended periods, often 15-20 minutes, with the support of props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks. The goal is to create a passive release of the mind and body, allowing for deep relaxation and healing. Suitable for all levels.
